Heaven 1 - Prophecy

When Paul visited heaven, he was prevented from telling much about what was witnessed, neither was Daniel or John allowed to tell about certain things. The information was withheld until these last days, and now astounding information is being revealed through prophecy.

But he said, “Go now, Daniel, for what I have said is kept secret and sealed until the time of the end.”

Daniel 12:9 NLT

We must use caution though, because prophecy that contradicts the Bible is counterfeit. Demons will do all they can to mislead people, there is much deception prevalent in the world nowadays. So we must draw close to the Lord, enabling spiritual discernment to decipher between truth and deception.

God has revealed amazing info about heaven through prophets, this series contains information provided in their testimonies. Not sure where to begin, there is more wondrous info than can be included. Will occasionally provide scriptural reference to concur their testimonies.

Heaven is filled with God's love, everything is breathtakingly beautiful and amazing. It is designed much like earth, so it will seem somewhat familiar, but there are many fascinating and magnificent differences.

Planet heaven is very far by physical standards, probably further then we could travel in a lifetime by current technology. But the journey is very fast in spirit, they just effortlessly zip through space. When we live in God's Kingdom, space travel will be like a walk in the park.

Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!”

Matt 13:43 NLT

Planet heaven is many times larger than earth, it's the new heaven revealed in Scripture, God's Throne and our mansions are there. These mansions are beautiful, built specifically according to each person's taste. As someone currently works in the Lord's vineyard, additional building materials are delivered for his or her mansion, and angels proceed to make it bigger and better.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.”

Revelations 21:1 NLT

People who do little for the Kingdom during their life will have small homes in heaven, and people who do much will have huge beautiful mansions. God knows every desire of our heart, and each person's mansion will match their preferences.

Besides working in the Lord's vineyard, there are other ways we can provide additional building materials. Such as prayer, reading the Bible, proclaiming the Good News, secret fasting, doing any task or job for the Kingdom, cheerful giving, walking in obedience to God... .

Some people don't want a big house, because it is hard to keep clean. But in heaven there is no dust, everything is alive, it's like a dream world, but it’s more real than earth. Plants are more alive, flowers gently sing and sway as someone walks by. Even buildings and stones are alive in heaven, as you touch them, you can feel them touching you back.

The river of life is alive, as you wade into the river you can feel the water touching you, and just being in the river fills a person with unexplainable joy. The river originates from God's Throne and flows along main street, it remains pure, never gets dirty. The river has capillaries that flow through each of our mansions, further adding to the enjoyment.

Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations.”

Revelation 22:1-2 NLT

Each mansion has sort of a balcony with direct sight to God as he sits on his Throne. People very much enjoy sitting there, because just being in his presence fills a person with inner joy. Our Father is quite huge, and when sitting on his Throne, can be seen from very far away.

“... God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

Revelation 21:3-4 NLT
