Our eyes can only see the physical realm, as far as stars in a night sky, but nothing in the spiritual, so it's by faith we believe the spiritual realm exists. Also, our mind's efficiency, sharpness, and senses are restricted by our biological body, performing at a fraction of potential.
Our biological bodies are bound to the physical world, made from dust and to dust they will return. But, when the Holy Spirit quickens our spirit, it becomes the essence of who we are, even though our physical body continues to be our temporary home for the duration of our earthly life.
After accepting salvation, heaven becomes our eternal home, but what we do during our physical life has profound significance in the beyond. As long as we are still walking earth, we have the opportunity to make an eternal difference by helping with the Kingdom, to eagerly be sent by Jesus. If our heart is able to perceive the future, then we can properly align values and priorities accordingly.
When the rapture occurs we will be **transformed** into a spiritual body, will receive a transcendent bright nature as we step into eternity. Spirit bodies will feel like home, much better than what we have now. The moment this happens, the full potential of our thoughts and senses will be unleashed, having enlightenment and abilities way beyond physical limits.
The lonely existence of our soul in a physical body, will be replaced with an awareness and familiarity of God's love. As we currently walk earth, we are only able to see and understand from the constricted sphere of a physical perspective, but after receiving the bright nature of a spirit body, senses and perception will be incredible.
God is allowing people to determine their own fate in the beyond by freewill choices and lifestyle now, which mold the heart accordingly. We are walking in a world influenced by Satan, he has used deception and trickery throughout time to entice people toward what is evil, causing hearts to turn from God. Focusing solely on the here and now results in an inability to properly prioritize, but focusing on the future enables an expended perspective.
What we do now has a direct bearing not only on the remainder of our earthly life, but mainly in the beyond. We must be willing to look past what this world has to offer, believing the Word of God, trusting he has better plans than what can be observed and understood with our physical senses.
When surrendering our heart to God, eternity comes into view by faith and is awaiting our arrival into heaven. But, this wise choice can only be made after inviting Jesus into our life as Savior and drawing close to him as Lord, his sacrifice allows us a doorway to God. Then it is prudent to live in obedience, being willing to work in the Lord’s vineyard.
Heaven is a very wonderful place, filled with God's glory and love. It's part of creation, God has placed his Throne on this huge planet in the spiritual realm. Anyone, whose name is written in the Book of Life, will dwell in this glorious paradise forever. We will be in the presence of angels, able to see everything in the spirit world. We will inherit God’s creation with our brother Jesus.
Heaven is beautiful with stunning flowers and magnificent trees, and there's no death, not even with plant life. There's no dust, rust or shadows, only abundant life and perfect light. All our desires and hopes will be filled in heaven, but we will no longer want evil things that entice us now.
“Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.”
Matt 6:20 NLT
The River of Life flows from God's Throne, containing purities of life. Wading into this crystal clear water is something to enthusiastically anticipate, and submersion is no problem because air is not needed for a spirit body
The streets in heaven are made of pure gold, shiny as glass. Everything about heaven is breathtaking, we will never get bored, God's glory and love are manifested throughout. When approaching the gate to heaven, the guardian angel will check to see if your name is recorded in the book of life, if it's there, he will open the grand gate and let you in.
God has selected some people to prematurely visit heaven, they have seen the magnificent wonders, then returned to tell us what they saw. These individuals are modern prophets, and God arranged tours for them for the purpose of providing a testimony for the rest of us. Since numerous Christians are complacent, bordering on lukewarm, these testimonies may be the catalyst needed for a wake up call. God has reserved this additional information for these last days.
“I was caught up to the third heaven fourteen years ago. Whether I was in my body or out of my body, I don’t know—only God knows. Yes, only God knows whether I was in my body or outside my body. But I do know that I was caught up to paradise and heard things so astounding that they cannot be expressed in words, things no human is allowed to tell.”
2 Corinthians 12:2-4 NLT
