Each new day is a blessing as the planetary rotations within the solar system continue according to God’s design. Everything was perfectly placed, even solar eclipses were destined to occur at their appointed time, nothing is by chance. God has a purpose for everything, his wisdom and power are way beyond our comprehension.
We were given the ability to think, plan, and create, while animals were only given instincts to do certain things. We were placed here on planet earth to live and multiply, having freewill to choose throughout life. Since we have the ability to know right from wrong, our choices can come with either reward or ramifications, according to contents of the heart.
Allowing oneself to be overly engaged with the here and now, or allowing burdens or joys of everyday life to stifle futuristic insight of the inner eye, leaves eternal fate uncertain. By placing undue value on physical life, while giving little or no thought toward what is next, is like living today as though there is no tomorrow.
Naturally we are to be engaged with the spectrum of responsibilities and enjoyments of life, but should always strive to keep values and priorities in proper perspective, which can only be derived through communication with Jesus. We should anticipate an amazing eternal existence, surrounded by God‘s love. Our Father expects us to know we are citizens of his Kingdom, and to conduct our lives in a manner that reflects our love for him.
Religious duties or obligatory good deeds isn’t what God wants of us, but rather allowing genuine love and faith to define who we are. If a child of God walks through life reflecting values of the world, then the heart is divided. The world is under influence of Satan, and he propagates what he knows will lead people away from God.
At creation, God set in place numerous laws of nature defining how things work, and now mostly allows events to unfold as they will. For example, gravity keeps us from floating out into space, but if you step off a cliff, it will drop you like Wiley the coyote. Another law is healing, the sacrifice of Jesus opened the door to this wonderful blessing, now available to anyone by faith.
Something else God allows to unfold as it will, is the doings of Satan. God allows his evil and destruction to continue, we can only speculate for what purpose. Perhaps a test for the human heart, will we sway toward evil, or reject it? Will we return to God through Jesus, or remain estranged? God has set a time for the evil to end, but will continue until it must be removed. When Jesus begins his kingship over the final millennia of the age, Satan and his cohorts will lose their freedom.
Upon realizing existence is much more than life on earth, our inner eye perceives the grand vastness of God’s creation. Scale of the current age consists of seven millennia, and we are nearing the end of the sixth.
God chose when and where each of us would be born and who our parents would be, he doesn’t make mistakes. He knew each of us before we were born, and has a good idea who will draw near to Jesus, and who will reject him.
As the sixth millennia comes to an end, the great tribulation will have been completed, but some other events will happen at that time. As Jesus descends through the clouds onto Mount Zion, those who have been raptured will accompany him. This will occur during the battle of Armageddon, militaries under the beast’s command will be attacking Israel. They will turn their weapons toward Jesus and the saints, but will be defeated.
Then during the final millennia Jesus will be King of earth, and the saints will reign with him. There will be lots of people living in the physical, just like the past 6000 years. But, there will finally be a government in place that does everything right, and truly seeks justice.
Then at the end of the seventh millennia will be Judgment Day, but this is not the end of God’s plans, this current age is only the beginning. God gives glimpses of future ages in Scriptures.
“But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.”
