Rapture 3 of 3 In The Blink of an Eye

As highlighted in Rapture 2, the rapture will coincide with the second coming of our Lord, after God’s holy people have prevailed through Satan‘s gauntlet of tactics designed to draw the faithful away from Jesus. Many will continue walking in faith, those who know the truth and love the Lord. But, many others will not prevail, so it is vitally important to frequently feed the spirit biblical morsels, drawing nearer to Jesus.

The first five trumpets have already sounded, and the sixth could be anytime, which will be the greatest and most terrible world war yet. The seventh trumpet will signify tribulation is over, God‘s holy people will see an end to the persecution. The time will finally have arrived, they will be transformed from physical to spiritial, God‘s promise of salvation will have occurred.

Seventh Trumpet

As per this following excerpt, when the dead rise from their graves to meet the Lord in the air, they will first return with him from heaven. They have been in Paradise since death, and now will rise from their graves, leaving no bones behind.

Then together with the faithful who are still alive in the physical, they will all ascend into the clouds, everyone whose name is written in the book of life. (1 Thes 4:16-17) This will be the day of reckoning, if someone makes the rapture, they were successful in life, but people who miss the rapture have failed.

“For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.”

1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 NLT

These two following excerpts confirm the seventh trumpet will be the signal to launch the rapture.

He swore an oath in the name of the one who lives forever and ever, who created the heavens and everything in them, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it. He said, “There will be no more delay. When the seventh angel blows his trumpet, God’s mysterious plan will be fulfilled. It will happen just as he announced it to his servants the prophets.””

Revelation 10:6-7 NLT

But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies."

1 Cor 15:51-53 NLT

This following verse also mentions the seventh trumpet, stating it will also signify the beginning of Jesus’s millennial reign on earth, further confirming the rapture will be post-trib. For the next 1000 years, Jesus will be the King of kings on earth, his government will be successful in everything. After his millennial reign, the earth will be tossed into the lake of fire, then there will be a new earth.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: “The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever

Revelation 11:15 NLT

Even though we will reign with Jesus on earth for the next 1000 years, we will also each have a mansion in heaven. Space travel in the spirit form is extremely fast, as revealed through modern prophecy, so we will likely visit our mansions, perhaps frequently. Jesus also elluded to mansions in heaven, and since heaven is where God’s Throne is, it’s his home also.

Modern prophecy has revealed that our mansions will be designed for each individual‘s personal taste, whatever you prefer, your mansion will have it integrated. Our mansions are increased in size and grandeur according to work we do for the Kingdom now, as we faithfully walk in obedience.

There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?

John 14:2 NLT

Time for some clarification, you may be wondering how the saints can return with Jesus after the wedding feast, and still be raptured when he returns. I had to repeatedly go back to check Scripture, to keep it straight. I’ll offer an explanation of how that can be, then you decide if it’s correct. And, just so you know, a saint is anyone who is included in rapture, whose names are written in the book of life.

When Jesus descends through the clouds, this will coincide with the sounding of the last trumpet. He will bring with him the saints who have previously died, then they will instantly rise from their graves, and along with the saints who are still alive, meet Jesus in the air. Jesus and the saints will go to heaven, and the wedding feast will proceed.

When the feast is over, all the saints will return with Jesus as he descends onto Mt. Zion. Since time has no bearing in heaven, this celebration can happen in the blink of an eye in physical time, but in heaven, it will take as long as it takes.

“...Then the Lord my God will come, and all his holy ones with him.”

Zechariah 14:5 NLT

During the battle of Armageddon is when Jesus will descend onto Mt Zion, just in time to save Israel from defeat. Multible nations will be in the process of attacking Israel, nearly defeating them. When these attacking forces see Jesus coming down out of the clouds, they will turn their weapons toward him and the saints.

Together they will go to war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them because he is Lord of all lords and King of all kings. And his called and chosen and faithful ones will be with him.”

Revelation 17:14 NLT
